Perm-a-cation!

Yesterday I arrived in New York City to meet Jon and attend his students' baseball award ceremony. Jon has been teaching fifth grade reading this summer in Harlem. But today he finished! As I finished my job a few weeks ago, we are officially on perm-a-cation! Also known as permanent vacation! We are now beginning to seriously prep for our journey. I recently bought a water purifying pump, for instance. We look forward to the last phase of our time in the U.S. and saying goodbye to all of our friends and family!
